Factory Outlet Trailers Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Information you give us directly. When you submit a contact form, request a quote, inquire about a trailer, or otherwise reach out to us, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the contents of your message.
Payment information. If you make a purchase or deposit through our Site, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVC ourselves; Stripe’s own privacy policy governs how that data is handled.
Communications. If you call, email, or text our sales or service team, we may keep records of that communication (including call or message content) for customer service, quality assurance, and training purposes. Where a call may be recorded, we will let you know at the start of the call.

Like most websites, our Site uses cookies and similar technologies that automatically collect information about your visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site. Factory Outlet Trailers sends text messages about trailer inquiries, quotes, orders, service, and related follow-up only to customers who have provided their phone number and given consent to be contacted by text. Consenting to receive texts is separate from, and is not a condition of, submitting a contact form or making a purchase.
This texting program is subject to Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), which is administered by the CRTC.
If you apply for financing through us or through one of our third-party lending partners, we may collect additional information such as your Social Insurance Number (SIN), employment and income details, and banking information, and we may obtain your consent to a credit check through a credit reporting agency (such as Equifax Canada or TransUnion Canada). This information is shared only with the lender(s) you choose to apply through, and their own privacy policy governs how they handle it.
We keep your contact and inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward. We retain records of purchases, deposits, and payments for at least six years, in line with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) record-keeping requirements. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it (for example, tax or accounting records, or to defend a legal claim).
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and, where required, the applicable privacy regulator, in accordance with Canadian law.
